Music Together® is based on the premise that children are musical and have the same innate ability to learn music as a language. Our goal is to nurture the child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We sing, dance, chant and play instruments in an informal setting that will enrich their musical environment and guide them towards basic music competence and ultimately towards a lifetime of musical enjoyment. This is a non-performance oriented program that seeks to assist children in developing music competency during the critical learning period of early childhood.

Music Together Class

Verena Mochar, Director of Music Together Vienna, first came to Music Together in 1999 as a parent in New York City. She and her sons took classes for two years and had such a great experience that she trained at the Center of Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey and became a registred teacher. Verena studied Musicology and German Literature in Vienna, has a degree in "EarlyChildhood" and studied classical and musical singing. She performed in several concerts in New York and Vienna.
